One of our ministry places is shelter. That’s a place where kids stay for up to 6 months at a time and are not allowed to leave, so we had the idea of doing a 4 day camp at the shelter. We used a program called Lamb (for telling about Jesus), from a camp two years ago. We had many games, crafts and snacks for the kids. It was fun, and there were kids there from ages 3 to 15. And on our last day we took the kids to a nearby park. It’s a park with different animals, slides and a café, where all the kids got ice cream and drinks. The kids had fun and it was very special to them.
