I am so very thankful that Stoneworks exists to help missionaries fulfill God’s call. Our recent mission trip was a great example of how SII serves missionaries and local churches.
Yesterday, after two very good and full weeks, we said our goodbyes to a team from Athens, GA. Most of the team members were from the Wesley Foundation at the University of Georgia. Jane Kilgo, from St. James UMC in Athens, also joined the team. The team is pictured above with the Kid’s Club at church.

It’s impossible to say how loving, encouraging and gracious the team was. Many people were very blessed by their time here, including the team members!
The team was involved in many different aspects of ministry, all with the focus of serving the Brethren Assembly in Podgorica. The pastor, Vladimir Cizmansky, is pictured at right performing a baptism which we were honored to attend. Read more

Wesley Foundation Team
Stoneworks has a team of “Living Stones” from the University of Georgia in Montenegro this week. Here is a picture of them when they arrived in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Mike and Olga picked them up there and then drove to Podgorica. There was a rock slide on the main road, so they had to take a detour on a very long and winding mountain road. They arrived “home” at about 3:30am.
While in Montenegro through the 26th, they will be leading a youth camp, ministering at the Brethren Assembly in Podgorica, leading a service at a church plant in Kotor, and prayer walking in a Muslim town with one known Christian.
We ask that you please pray for them as they help fulfill Stoneworks’ mission by spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, discipling to those who respond to their message, and being a blessing to those in need in Montenegro. Please also pray for God to watch over them, keeping them safe in the palm of His hand.
On the road to Montenegro

I’ve just arrived in Montenegro after a drive down from Russia. It was a wonderful trip, and today we’ll meet the team from the University of Georgia. I’ll post more about their ministry here. But for now, here is a slideshow of our drive down from Russia, through the heart of Eastern Europe –
On our way back to Russia, we’ll visit Karen Haserot in Budapest and Spring of Revival in Minsk. God is giving us so many good relationships and much joy in the work.
